Technical assistance for the implementation of a contactless transport card

TUSSAM, Seville’s Urban Transport Company, which clocks up an annual figure of 93 million travellers, has commissioned Palma Tools to carry out the technical assistance required for all aspects related to the introduction of a contactless transport card:
Implementation of the Multi-trip Card that can be recharged at more than 700 locations in Seville and its province. Every time a passenger uses the bus or tram, the cost of the ticket is deducted from the card.
Scope of the technological enhancement project:
The technical assistance provided by Palm Tools for TUSSAM has an important scope in that it involves a large transport system that comprises 38 routes covering a network of almost 300 km and a fleet of more than 370 vehicles, with more than 1,500 points of sale throughout the city to facilitate ticket purchase.
